Frequently Asked Questions
Rooms and Amenities
What is included in the accommodation price?
All stays include bed linens, towels, basic cleaning, and access to the gardens and pool. All guests also have access to the fully equipped shared kitchen, and some accommodations additionally feature a private or mini kitchen.
Do all rooms have a private bathroom?
Yes, all our accommodations feature a private bathroom for your comfort and privacy.
Do the rooms have air conditioning or heating?
Not necessary. Summers in Fuerteventura are warm but mild, and winters are temperate.
Do all rooms have Wi-Fi?
No. Wi-Fi is available in the common areas only, not in the rooms. We see this as a positive part of the Villa Azul experience and hope our guests do too. It encourages a more mindful use of technology, so that checking something online or reaching for a phone becomes a conscious choice rather than an automatic habit.
Do the rooms have a TV?
No. At Villa Azul, we prefer to offer silence, nature, and spaces for connection. Occasionally, we organize outdoor screenings of movies or documentaries.
Can double or single beds be requested?
Yes, several rooms allow you to choose the bed configuration.
Can I select a specific room when booking a retreat?
We always try to accommodate your preferences, though it depends on availability.
Are there women-only options?
Yes, the Canarias Apartment is reserved for female travelers who wish to share and connect with other women.
House Rules
Is smoking allowed at Villa Azul?
No, not in indoor spaces. There are designated outdoor smoking areas.
Are pets allowed?
Only guide dogs.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes, starting at 10:00 PM we maintain a calm and restful environment for all.
Can I bring guests or have overnight visitors?
No, rooms are reserved exclusively for registered guests to preserve the privacy and tranquility of the retreat.
Is Villa Azul suitable for families with children?
Families with children are welcome at Villa Azul. However, the centre is primarily designed for adults and dedicated to Yoga, meditation, introspection and personal growth. It is not a conventional holiday resort and does not offer child-specific facilities such as children’s pools, changing tables or play areas. The natural garden also features cacti, stones and other elements that require particular care around young children.
We therefore encourage each family to consider whether this type of environment is right for their children. Should they choose to stay, children are welcomed under the same conditions as adults and are charged at the same rate as adults. Any particular circumstances can be discussed with the centre in advance.
